Status Quo, Mike and the Mechanics and Ocean Colour Scene are on the Isle of Wight Festival bill for 2016, it’s been announced.

They will join Queen with Adam Lambert, Stereophonics and Faithless at the weekend at Seaclose Park, along with Iggy Pop, Twin Atlantic, Busted, Jess Glynne, Sigma and The Corrs. Also announced today are indie brothers The Cribs and rock’n’roll duo The Kills. Status Quo are due to retire after 2016, so it could turn out to be one their final performances. Ocean Colour Scene will return to the Isle of Wight Festival for the first time since 2010. The Isle of Wight Festival takes place between 9-12 June
