Have You Seen A Stolen Black Vespa Scooter On The Island?

The owner of a scooter which was allegedly stolen from Binstead on Saturday night (7 January) is appealing for its return.

The black Vespa scooter – belonging to Island man Rob Whapham – was taken sometime on Saturday night between 8.15pm and 10.25pm on Jellicoe Road.

Rob has appealed for the scooter to be returned on social media.

A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said:

“We are investigating reports of a scooter was taken from outside a property on Jellicoe Road, Binstead near Ryde.

Anyone with informtaion – or has seen the scooter – is asked to call police on 101 quoting incident number 44170004750.”
