Residents on the Island are being given the chance to name the Isle of Wight’s new Floating Bridge.

It’s registered as Floating Bridge Number 6, but now the Isle of Wight Council says it is open to suggestions for a new name.

The bridge is due to come into operation in May, following it’s construction at Mainstay Marine in Wales.

Floaty McFloatface has already been vetoed by council officials, but other suggestions are welcomed.
