An Isle of Wight charity is asking for help with a DIY SOS style challenge.

Aspire Ryde are making the appeal to trades people who can help them revitalise their listed building to help them continue to support users.

The challenge takes place over four days next week (23/24/25/26 June) and there is a list of jobs including painting, decorating and garden work.

The charity helps with the Isle of Wight community, addressing the needs of the elderly, homeless, and those with mental health and wellbeing issues. Over the last three years, thousands have accessed services at the Dover Street base, formerly the Holy Trinity Church. The historic church is still on the buildings at risk register.

Aspire Ryde are hoping that more than just trades people get involved and say there are plenty of other jobs around that help is needed with.

If you can help, contact Aspire Ryde by emailing [email protected] or via the Aspire Ryde Facebook page
