Three Arrested After Fairlee Road “Fight”

Three teenagers, arrested in the early hours of this morning (Sunday), have since been released without charge but remain under investigation, according to Hampsthire Constabulary.

Police were called at 1.25am, to a report of two groups of males fighting on Fairlee Road, Newport.

An 18-year-old man from Amesbury was detained on suspicion of affray. An 18-year-old man from Bristol was arrested for racially / religiously aggravated harassment with fear of violence. A 19-year-old man from Wellow was arrested for racially / religiously aggravated harassment with fear of violence.
