Isle Of Wight Shoeboxes To Be Sent To Europe

Your shoeboxes will help children in need in the poorest areas of Europe

Shoeboxes filled with Christmas goodies will leave the Isle of Wight bound for eastern Europe later today (Thursday).

The Rotary Club’s annual appeal sees Islanders filling decorated boxes with items for (mainly) youngsters in need, in some of the poorest parts of Europe.

The boxes will be transported to Romania, Moldova and Montenegro, where they will be handed out in time for Christmas.
