Chef Robert Thompson from The Hambrough, with the help of ‘Made on the Isle of Wight’ have put together a hamper to highlight some of the great produce the Island can produce.
When The Queen visits on the 25 July she will be presented the hamper to her in Cowes.
Items from The Hamper include: Colin Boswell’s Garlic from The Garlic Farm, Golden Tomato Juice from the Tomato Stall. Richard Hodgson’s Isle of Wight Blue Cheese from The Isle of Wight Cheese Company, Ale of Wight from Goddards Brewery, Jubilee Sparkling Wine from Adgestone Vineyard and Isle of Wight Honey from Mary Case.
Serena from Made on the Isle of Wight says ‘We are proud to have worked with Robert Thompson to create this hamper. Since opening Made on the Isle of Wight 18 months ago we have discovered an astonishingly wide range of high quality goods made here on the Island and we are delighted to have been able to suggest some that we thought H.M. The Queen might enjoy.’
