The villages of Brighstone, Hulverstone, Mottistone and Brook are preparing to welcome visitors to the annual Christmas tree festival.
The event is now in its 16th year and begins on Wednesday evening (5 December) with the lighting of the Earl Mountbatten Hospice tree and carols being sung in St Mary’s Church, Brighstone.
Dozens of trees are displayed during the event in several venues including Mottistone Church and the Wilberforce Hall
The Christmas Tree Festival, which includes a number of other carol services and events, runs until Sunday (9 December) with proceeds going to local charities.
