Officers searching for missing 77-year-old Celia Vosper yesterday afternoon (29 March) sadly located the body of a woman in the Alum Bay area.
Formal identification has not yet taken place but her next of kin have been informed and are being supported by officers.
Isle of Wight police have thanks the public for helping to share its appeal.
