A woman has died following a medical incident at Yaverland this afternoon (Sunday).
As previously reported by Isle of Wight Radio, a multi agency response from the Ambulance service, police, Sandown and Shanklin Independent Lifeboat, Air Ambulance and Coastguard Teams descended to a stretch of beach near Yaverland.
Isle of Wight Radio understands that a woman has sadly been pronounced dead at the scene.
We have approached police for a comment.
