Climbing a mountain is among the next charity challenges for Island teenager Natasha Lambert.

Natasha has already raised thousands of pounds for good causes by sailing around the Island.

In her latest fundraising effort in July, she raised over £7,000 by using her specially adapted boat ‘Miss Isle’ to sail across the English Channel in just under four hours.

The funds are to be split between Cowes RNLI, the Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust and Wetwheels Solent.

The money will be used to take five young people recovering from cancer, on a four-day sailing trip, train a new lifeboat crew member and provide wet weather kit, plus take 30 disabled people powerboating on Wetwheels.

Tasha has thanked everyone for their help and support in reaching this total and is thrilled it will help so many people get out on the water safely.

She is now planning her next adventure which is to include sailing even further afield and climbing a mountain during summer 2014, hoping to raise yet more money for charity in the process.
