A brand new walk has been unveiled for those taking part in this year’s Walk The Wight.
The Earl Mountbatten Hospice will offer a select few walkers the chance to go from Carisbrooke to the Needles with an alpaca or llama. There’s six places and you can take part from Friday 11 March in a silent auction by visiting www.walkthewight.com. Jax Jones from the hospice said:
“Originally it was going to be all llamas, but unfortunately one of the llamas is poorly so two alpacas are going to stand in for the llama, so one will do the first half and the other will do the second half.” “Our fundraising target this year is £300,000, and we’d like to thank West Wight Alpacas for giving Walk The Wight this unique opportunity to raise money for patient and family care.”
