This Sunday will see a blessing of a difference – a boat blessing service.

Holy Trinity Church in Cowes has organised the service for the start of the 2016 sailing season – including the new Cowes RNLI inshore lifeboat Sheena Louise. All boat owners and their vessels are encouraged to attend and there will be free mooring for the event by permission of the Cowes Harbour Commission. Cowes Concert Band will also be playing on the Parade at the service, which will be conducted by the Reverend Andrew Poppe. The service starts at 6pm at Trinity Landing on the Parade and there will be a collection in aid of the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance and the RNLI.
