Hampshire Constabulary says it is investigating a public order incident in Ryde on Monday.
Shortly after 5:10pm, says the police force, two men at the Santander cashpoint on the High Street were involved in a verbal disagreement with a man, and a woman who was using a mobility scooter.
The incident escalated, say officers, but no-one was seriously hurt.
Hampshire Constabulary is appealing for witnesses and wants to get hold of mobile phone footage of the incident.
