Three teenagers have been hurt in a crash on the Isle of Wight last night (Tuesday).

As reported by Isle of Wight Radio, emergency crews were called to a vehicle found 15 metres down an embankment. 

Fire crew from Freshwater and Yarmouth were called to the scene of the crash at Compton Chine off the Military Road by the Isle of Wight Ambulance service at 9.29 pm, where a Vauxhall Corsa left the road and ended up on its roof in a field near Compton Chine.

Hampshire Constabulary says the driver, a 17-year-old male, has been seriously injured and has been transferred to Southampton General Hospital.

Two male passengers, a 17-year-old and a 19-year-old also suffered injuries and are being treated at St Mary’s Hospital.
