An Isle of Wight man is cycling round Southern Australia, and raising money for Island charities along the way.
Ian Gregory has undertaken the mammoth challenge of attempting to cycling 2,000 miles around Australia. His big cycle is raising money for Prostate Cancer UK, Layla’s Trust, Challenge and Adventure, Isle of Wight Pride, and Isle of Wight Zoo.
“It’s getting more and more difficult to fundraise. People in this day and age have only got so much to give to charity. Why fight over it, why don’t we all just work together?”
Ian is making his way through a grueling 1,210 mile ride from Canberra to Sydney, and from there will cycle on to Adelaide. You can track his progress here.
If you’d like to donate to the big ride, you can find more details here.
