A Newport woman has been handed a suspended jail term after pleading guilty to unlawful wounding.
22-year-old Natasha Pink appeared at the Isle of Wight’s Crown Court for sentencing today (Monday).
In December, Natasha Molly Pink from Caesars Road, Newport admitted unlawfully wounding a 26 year old man.
In November, the man walked into the Cask and Crispin pub seeking help. An ambulance was called and he was treated for a puncture wound to his chest.
The Isle of Wight Crown Court today heard Natasha Pink used a knife from a kitchen block to “jab” the man, causing a wound of about 2.5 centimetres.
She was handed a 12 month jail term suspended for 2 years.
