The Isle of Wight’s Campaign For Real Ale (CAMRA) has been asking its members to vote for their favourite ale, and the best place to grab a pint.
Today (Sunday) the winners are revealed…
The Best Pub
Winner – King Harry’s Bar (Shanklin)
Joint 2nd- S. Fowler & Co (Ryde) and Newport Ale House
Joint 4th – Joe’s Bar (Niton) and the Castle Inn (Sandown)
The Best Ale
Winner – Earl’s RDA from Island Brewery
2nd – Fuggle-Dee-Dum from Goddard’s Brewery
Joint 3rd – Ale of Wight from Goddard’s Brewery and Yachtsman Ale from Island Brewery
5th – Wight Christmas from Island Brewery
6th – Islander from Yates Brewery
