Isle of Wight Warriors’ speedway side will be hoping to bounce back from last week’s defeat to Mildenhall when they take on Eastbourne Eagles on tomorrow night (7).

The Warriors suffered a 21-66 defeat away at the Mildenhall ‘Fen Tigers’ last Sunday (3) and will now face Eastbourne at Smallbrook Stadium.

This is the third time the Warriors will meet the Sussex side this season, with their last encounter- a National League Trophy clash- ending in a 34-56 away defeat.

Two familiar faces will also be returning for the tie – which is the first on home turf since May 24, after a series of postponements.

Warriors’ Ben Morley is set to return from injury on Thursday (7)

The Warriors will welcome back Ben Morley, who has recovered from a dislocated wrist, as well as Scott Campos, who is set to compete following a shoulder stinger he sustained two weeks ago.

Meanwhile, the visitors will be without second string Charley Powell and reserve Charlie Brooks.

Gates open at 5.30 pm with the first race starting at 7 pm.
