WightFibre's John Irvine and Zoe Stroud

WightFibre has announced a new Director of Marketing, adding to other key appointments as its Gigabit Island project moves forward.

Zoe Stroud adds 15 years of marketing experience to the company, having spent the past three years at Visit Isle of Wight, promoting the Island and working closely with a broad range of businesses – including managing a key Department of Transport contract that focused on encouraging visitors to the Island not to use their cars.

WightFibre’s CEO, John Irvine, said:

“I am very pleased to announce the appointment of Zoe as WightFibre’s new Director of Marketing. Zoe is a great addition to our team with her extensive marketing experience, knowledge of the island and our community. At WightFibre we work hard to hire locally and we are delighted, once again, to have found such great talent right here on the Island.”

Zoe will also be well known to many businesses on the Island as former Group Marketing Manager at the Isle of Wight Chamber of Commerce. A role she held for over seven years before joining Visit Isle of Wight. Zoe also managed the chamber’s various brands including Isle of Wight Lottery, Chamber Health and Island Business Magazine, as well as developing the annual Business EXPO.
