The number of Islanders out of work last month (June) has fallen.
The amount of people claiming Jobseeker’s Allowance (JSA) on the Isle of Wight has dropped by 100, from 1,440 in May to 1,340 in June.
Latest figures show it’s a year-on-year fall of 30 claimants – with 1,370 unemployed in June 2017.
It is also the lowest rate of unemployment since September 2016.
National figures revealed the number of people in work has hit 32.4 million – the highest since records began in 1971.
