Firefighters are tackling a large fire in Sandown this morning (Sunday).
Several appliances have been called to the area of Culver Parade.
Thick black smoke can be seen from several miles around.
Police are also in attendance.
It’s believed two hotels, Tarvic2 and St Mauritz, are ablaze.
Both hotels have been evacuated and no injuries have been reported, according to the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service.
One ambulance and an operational command unit are at the incident to ensure the safety of the Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue crew.
The ambulance service says a Hazardous Area Response Team is also en-route to Sandown.
Sandown residents are being advised to close doors and windows whilst crews tackle the blaze.
