Two directors of Island company GTI Glazing Systems – and one former director – have formed a new business named Glazing the Island.

Cowes windows firm, GTI Glazing Systems, were placed in liquidation last week after almost 26 years in business.

As reported by Isle of Wight Radio, a spokesperson for business advisory firm Quantuma confirmed it was handling the company’s affairs.

However, a new firm called Glazing the Island has now been formed, according to government agency Companies House.

Current GTI Glazing directors Neil Johnson and Michael Roberts are listed as the new bosses on the site, as is former GTI director John Brady – who resigned on 20 February.

It is not yet known if jobs will be retained from GTI Glazing.

Isle of Wight Radio has asked for clarification for customers waiting for work to be carried out and those who had a 10-year -guarantee with the firm.
