Did your name make the list? The most popular baby names on the Isle of Wight have been revealed.

Nationally the favourites for 2017 were Oliver and Olivia, according to figures from the Officer for National Statistics.

However the trend buckled on the Isle of Wight, with more parents opting for Charlie when naming baby boys, and Amelia for baby girls last year.

Oliver came in at a close second, with Archie being crowned the third most popular boys name.

While the Isle of Wight’s second favourite girls name was Amelia, and Olivia also proved popular in third.
