Queensgate Foundation and Gurnard primary schools could look like this.

Two new-build schools look set to get conditional permission when the Isle of Wight Council’s planning committee meets later today (Tuesday).

Queensgate and Gurnard primary schools are applying to replace their current buildings through the government’s Priority Schools Building Programme.

Both would house 420 children and would be built on their existing sites.

Councillors meet at County Hall at 4pm to consider the schemes.
