Plans to build 140 homes at Rosemary Vineyard in Ryde have taken a step forward.

Despite councillors raising concerns over an ‘infrequent’ bus service and traffic congestion the outline proposals were approved at the Isle of Wight Council’s planning committee meeting last night (Tuesday).  

Planning consultant Phil Salmon said it is ‘deliverable’ and that it’s hoped work will begin on the development next year.
