American aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman is leaving the Solent today (Wednesday).

At 1,096ft long and with the capacity to hold 90 aircraft, the vessel has been sitting between Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight since the weekend.

The vessel, carrying 5,000 sailors and currently on deployment supporting NATO allies, has been in Stokes Bay for a port visit.
