Customers were transferred to another bus and police were called to Southern Vectis’ route 7 service in Totland earlier (Friday).
The firm says one customer was aggressive towards another customer, so it alerted Hampshire Constabulary.
Simon Moye, Southern Vectis operations manager said,
“We don’t tolerate this kind of behaviour, and our driver asked the unruly passenger to leave the vehicle. They refused, so we contacted the police.
“To speed up the service, all other customers have been transferred to a replacement bus.”
