Bob Seely is comparing his views on Theresa May’s plans to The Rolling Stones hit – ‘You can’t always get what you want.’

He goes on to say that, ‘You can’t always get what you want, but if you try sometime, you just might find you get what you need‘.

The deal has been approved by Mrs May’s Cabinet – but there are rumblings several ministers weren’t happy. Labour’s said it’ll vote against the plan.

It’s also got to be approved by the rest of the EU at a meeting a week on Sunday.

Speaking exclusively to Isle of Wight Radio, Mr Seely said:

“It’s not perfect, but it’s not bad. I think it is good enough.

“We need to be incredibly respectful to everyone in this country and deliver a Brexit that is reasonable and takes everyone into account.

“The most important thing for me is that we have to focus on the things that are important for this country.

“We have to get on and govern and make the key decisions and make those decisions for the British people.”
