Isle of Wight Skeleton slider Kim Murray continued her fine form to take home her first-ever gold medal in the European Cup over the weekend.
Ryde-born Kim claimed silver and finished fourth in another competition race only last week but managed to go one better in Winterberg, Germany. It follows her call-up to the Team GB World Cup Skeleton squad.
It was the 30-year-old’s first-ever race win in the third event of the season so far.
Kim finished in 1:55.50, nine-hundredths of a second quicker than German Janine Becker.
GB teammate Madelaine Smith came in third with a 1:55.93 finish.
Kim says she’s delighted:
