It is beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Ryde.

Following the success of last year’s event, Isle of Wight charity the Wight Brainy Bunch is bringing its Christmas market back to the town today (Saturday).

The festive celebrations will be decking the halls of Ryde Fire Station with an array of seasonal stalls and entertainment from the likes of the Wight Diamonds Marching Band, Cantobelle and Vectis Corps of Drums Marching Band.

The charity’s naughty elves are also busy at work preparing the “Elf Workshop”, where the little ones can enjoy a range of craft activities, face painting, and of course Santa’s Grotto.
You can catch a piece of the action between 10am – 4pm.

The Wight Brainy Bunch Christmas Market will be followed by the switching on of Ryde Fire’s Christmas lights.
