Cowes Ladies took the spoils in the local derby last weekend but they could not pick up where they left off this time around.

The Hampshire County Women’s Football League Division 2 side were in cup action yesterday (Sunday), travelling to AFC Bedhampton Village.

They gave their opponents a run for their money but Jessica Cromey scored four for the hosts putting them comfortably out of site.

The game ended 10-1.

Meanwhile, Shanklin Ladies took on Wokingham and Emmbrook away from home.

They lost out 7-1 and now sit 8th.

East Cowes Vics Ladies game against Fordingbridge Turks was called off.

On Saturday (1), East Cowes Vics took all three points in their game against Ringwood Town in the Sydenhams Wessex Division One.

Meanwhile, Cowes Sports picked up a point away to Christchurch in the Sydenhams Wessex Premier League.

Charlie Allen scored for the visitors and the game ended 1-1.

Newport’s game against Amesbury was called off.

Cowes Sport sit 17th in the top tier, while Newport are in 9th and East Cowes Vics in 12th.
