Red Funnel, Wightlink and Hovertravel all have revised timetables in place during the festive season.

Wightlink and Hovertravel have no crossings on Christmas Day, while Red Funnel has two sailings. Its Red Jet service will not operate.

On Christmas Eve, Red Funnel’s Southampton to East Cowes service will run. Its final sailing from Southampton is at 7.30pm and from East Cowes it is at 9pm.

On Christmas Day, the service will run from Southampton at 9am and 12pm. Meanwhile, it will sail from East Cowes at 10.30am and 1.30pm.

The service will run with limited sailings on Boxing Day. The first will be from Southampton at 7.15am and the first from East Cowes will be at 9am.

Meanwhile, the last sailing from Southampton is at 6pm and the final one from East Cowes is at 7.30pm.

On New Year’s Eve, the final sailing from Southampton is at 7.30pm and the last one from East Cowes is at 9pm.

The New Year’s Day timetable will also see revisions.

Some of Wightlink’s Fishbourne to Portsmouth route sailings will run hourly and half-hourly throughout Christmas Eve. The last sailing will be at 7pm from Portsmouth and 8pm from Fishbourne.

On Boxing Day, the route will run hourly with the first sailing from Fishbourne at 8am and the first from Portsmouth at 7am. The last sailing from Fishbourne will be 11pm and 11.59pm from Portsmouth.

On New Year’s Eve, the service will operate from Fishbourne until 8pm. The last New Year’s Eve sailing from Portsmouth is at 7pm.

New Year’s Day services will run hourly.

Meanwhile, the Yarmouth to Lymington route will also run hourly on Christmas Eve with the last sailing from Yarmouth at 8.20pm.

Boxing Day, the route will run a limited service. The first sailing is at 8.40am from Yarmouth and 7.50am from Lymington. The last crossing of the day is at 8pm from Yarmouth and 7.10pm from Lymington.

The route will run until 8.20pm from Yarmouth and until 7.15pm from Lymington on New Year’s Eve.

New Year’s Day services will run hourly until 8.45pm from Lymington and 9.30pm from Yarmouth.

The Ryde to Portsmouth FastCat will operate from Ryde until 7.47pm and 7.20pm from Portsmouth on Christmas Eve.

Meanwhile, on Boxing Day the first sailing from Portsmouth is at 7.15am and from Ryde it is at 7.47am. The last sailings are 10.45pm from Portsmouth and 11.10pm from Ryde.

The first sailing from Ryde on New Year’s Eve is at 5.47am and from Portsmouth it is at 5.15am. The Portsmouth to Ryde route will stop operating at 7.20pm and the Ryde to Portsmouth service will end at 7.47pm.

On New Year’s Day, crossings will run until 11.10pm from Ryde and 10.45pm from Portsmouth.

Hovertravel is running a revised timetable on Christmas Eve. It says its first sailing from Ryde to Southsea is at 6.15am and its last from Ryde is at 6.45pm.

The service will run from 6.30am from Southsea and will terminate at 7pm.

As well as Christmas Day, Hovertravel will also not operate on Boxing Day.

Its last service departing Ryde on New Year’s Eve will be at 6.45pm. Whereas, its last sailing from Southsea will be at 7pm.

On New Year’s Day, the service will run hourly with the last sailings from Ryde and Southsea being 8.45pm and 9pm respectively.
