Ability Dogs 4 Young People, Red Funnel Charity of the Year 2016 winners.

Three Isle of Wight charities are battling it out to be crowned Red Funnel’s Charity of the Year 2019.

The ferry firm is once again asking for the help of Isle of Wight residents to choose which charity will take the crown.

More than fifty charities threw their names into the hat, and have now been whittled down to the final three.

Naomi House & Jacksplace .

In the running is Naomi House & Jacksplace, which provides expert hospice care to life limited and life threatened children, young adults.

Home-Start, Isle of Wight.

Also nominated is Home-Start, Isle of Wight, which helps families with young children struggling to cope with issues like lack of confidence, postnatal depression, and physical and mental health problems.


While Mountbatten which provides 24/7 care and support for Islander and their families  facing death, dying and bereavement, is also in with a chance.
