A popular band featuring two Isle of Wight musicians has landed dream gigs supporting Bastille on their European tour next year.
Luke Jeffries (Drums) and Jezza Wells (Bass Guitar) make up one half of the London based band FOURS.
Luke, who grew up in Bembridge and Jezza who’s originally from Whitwell both studied music at Platform One College Of Music in Newport before heading off to University.
In 2014 The pair teamed up with Edith Violet (Vocals) and Dan Smith (Guitar) as FOURS, gaining huge popularity with their indie pop song Fade To Love which has been streamed almost 6 Million times on Spotify alone.
Today (Friday 14th) the band has revealed that they will be supporting Bastille on three dates in Europe next year.
They’re on the the line up for dates in Prague, Vienna and Stuttgart in 2019.
Jezza told Isle of Wight Radio:
“We’re so excited to be supporting a band whose music we genuinely love and taking our own to some beautiful european cities. It’s an amazing opportunity.”
