Strong winds are already causing disruption to travel this morning (Friday), and the Met Office is warning there may be more to come.

A yellow weather warning for wind is expected to be in place until 8pm tonight.
Hovertravel’s services are currently cancelled to adverse weather conditions.
The Needles Old Battery says it is open and has recorded wind gusts of 77mph today, with winds hitting around 54mph currently (1.30pm). Force Nine gusts were recorded by BrambleMet buoy in the Solent.
While Wightlink and Red Funnel say they are running to time, but Red Funnel is warning of possible delays to its Red Jet service.
