The Railway in Ryde has been voted number one pub by the Isle of Wight’s real ale lovers.
More than 120 CAMRA members on the Island placed it first when they picked their favourite venues in the annual competition.
The Newport Ale House (it also did well in 2016) took second position and Sandown’s Castle Inn (it also featured in 2017) was third.
Former number one pub, King Harry’s Bar in Shanklin, was knocked into fourth place.
Meanwhile, the enduring Earl’s RDA, which also raises cash for the hospice charity Mountbatten, was again named members’ favourite ale.
Fuggle-Dee-Dum was second and third was Yachtsman Ale.
