Wightlink CEO Keith Greenfield officially opening Monkey Madness in Newchurch.

Managing Director, Del Curtis told Isle of Wight Radio:

“Monkey Madness over the season will create jobs for 25 people so with Amazon World and the cafe and Monkey Madness means employed over 50 people which is great for the Island. And, it’s good for Islanders because obviously want permanent jobs and at the end of the season anyone who wants to stays that wants to stay – we don’t put anybody out of work.

“They’re all great staff and without them none of this can be.”

While Visit Isle of Wight Managing Director, Will Myles, says it could help tourism on rainy days:

“It’s an amazing place for kids to come… Indoor attractions alongside our outside attractions is what the Island needs.

“I think it’s a great addition to what we’ve got. If the weather’s not as nice as it should be it’ll be there for people to come and do indoors.”
