The Medina Parkrun will celebrate eight years on the Isle of Wight tomorrow (Saturday) – and organisers want you to sign up!
The event, hosted every Saturday at Seaclose Park, sees Islanders young and old get together to take part in a 5km timed run.
Tomorrow will mark the 400th meeting – and to celebrate organisers want to beat the current record for the number of people taking part, 400.
The Parkrun is completely free and relies on volunteers to host the event.
Event director, John Hepworth, said:
“It is a run, not a race. Everyone can take part, either runners or walkers.
“It is an inclusive, welcoming event and it is a fantastic way to get fit, and stay fit.”
