Two teenagers, including a 13-year-old boy, have been arrested on suspicion of assault and released under investigation, following an incident in Newport on Wednesday (13).

A 15-year-old boy and a 16-year-old girl were left with minor injuries after an incident in Seaclose Park, according to Hampshire Constabulary.

Police say a 13-year-old and a 16-year-old detained, and since released, are both from the Island.

Yesterday (Thursday), four teenagers were arrested, including three 14-year-olds, on suspicion of violent disorder. They have since been released under investigation.

A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary says enquiries are on-going and witnesses should send any video footage to the police:
