It is the last chance to have your say on plans which could see a Freshwater Primary School close its doors.

A consultation looking at a surplus of school places in the West Wight was launched in March – but is due to end tonight.

As reported by Isle of Wight Radio, the Isle of Wight Council says the number of young children living in the West Wight is relatively low, and is forecast to decline further over the next few years.

The local authority has chosen Freshwater’s All Saints primary as its preferred option for closure – but parents and children do not want that to happen.
