Jack Up The Weekend – scheduled to take place on the Isle of Wight this weekend – has been ‘postponed’.
Organisers Jack Up Events, have said ‘technical reasons outside of its control’, have forced the postponement until the Autumn.
Acts from The Jam and Big Country were among those due to play this Friday (19) and Saturday (20) at Medina Leisure Centre.
The full statement reads:
“We’re sorry to advise that owing to technical reasons outside of our control the two concert nights due to take place this coming weekend are to be postponed & rescheduled to a date (to be confirmed ASAP) this coming Autumn.
“We are passionate about ensuring the best possible experience at our events & deeply regret any inconvenience bought about by this change of circumstance. Both From The Jam & Big Country will however be returning to the Island to perform two headline sets on the same night. We would ask anyone with tickets to therefore please keep hold of your original concert tickets as you will now get to see two bands for the price of one!
“If, once the revised date has been announced, you are unable to attend the rescheduled event, or if you have purchased tickets for both nights, you will be able to obtain a refund for the sale price of your ticket(s) directly from the outlet from which they were originally purchased.
“Once again our sincere apologies, more information will follow shortly.”
