Fast-typers need not apply: The Forestry Commission is recruiting for a job on the Isle of Wight that requires some very special skills.

As Isle of Wight Radio previously reported, its White-tailed Eagle project has been given the go-ahead.

The Island will host a breeding and settlement programme aimed at populating the south coast with the majestic hunting birds.

A Project Officer is needed to work closely with Forestry England’s ecology team and the Roy Dennis Wildlife Foundation, to carry out a successful reintroduction programme with good monitoring and close liaison with stakeholders and the wider public.
