The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance has been called to Ryde School this afternoon (Thursday).

A pupil has been flown to St Mary’s Hospital, following a call out at 2.16pm.
The child has a suspected broken ankle, a spokesperson from the school has told Isle of Wight Radio.
They added:
“The ambulance service was called, we understand that other ambulances on the Island were already prioritised and the Air Ambulance arrived first and they are treating the pupil. The pupil’s parents are aware.”
