Some Wightlink customers have been moved onto alternative sailings as Wightlink makes changes to its bank holiday weekend schedule.
The ferry firm says the changes this weekend’s Fishbourne – Portsmouth route are essential due to a mechanical fault on board St Clare.
Customers have been told there is an issue with the ship’s propeller, Isle of Wight Radio understands.
A Wightlink spokesperson said:
“St Clare is taking a few minutes longer for each crossing because of a fault on one propeller.”
*Wightlink has this afternoon confirmed a number of the half-hourly sailings will be affected.
