A team of young business people from Ryde Academy are through to the regional finals of a Young Enterprise competition.
Deja Brew sells freshly-roasted, single-origin Costa Rican coffee.
The firm was named best overall company at the Isle of Wight area finals and went through to the Hampshire finals in Southampton.
They have now progressed through to the South East final in Woking on 5 June.
19-year-old Ben Taylor, who is Deja Brew’s Marketing Director, also won the Isle of Wight Journey Award and is through to the regional final. It recognises and celebrates the journey of a young person from when they started their company and the difference that it has made to them in developing a range of skills including communication, teamwork, confidence, resilience and problem-solving.
Link teacher Katy Bell said:

Wightlink funded the team’s cross-Solent travel.
