Another act has dropped out of Isle of Wight Festival 2019 – with only a matter of hours to go before this year’s event gets underway.
Band Mystery Jets have cancelled their Sunday (16) performance in the Big Top.
They have been replaced by Starsailor – fronted by James Walsh. He will also perform a solo set on stage tonight (Thursday).
Speaking exclusively on Isle of Wight Radio’s Topping In The Morning, he said he would also be doing his bit for charity:
“I’m going to be busking on one of the Southampton to East Cowes Red Funnel Services in aid of Macmillan Cancer charity. So that should be fun!”
As reported by Isle of Wight Radio, Mystery Jets are the third act to drop out.
Indie rock band Friendly Fires and solo star Yungblud will replace Cage the Elephant and Sam Fender.
Wet Wet Wet will also perform tonight, as will Proud singer Heather Small.
