You will recognise her from the BBC’s Astronauts: Do You Have What It Takes?. Now Dr Suzie Imber (pictured above wearing a hat) is presenting an evening on the Isle of Wight, organised by a teacher from Broadlea Primary.

Claire Loizos has been running the Space Camp project (as Isle of Wight Radio has previously reported HERE and HERE), which has seen scores of young people camping out under the stars and learning more about space and our night skies.

Now, Claire is preparing to welcome the winner of a Chris Hadfield-hosted BBC TV show that set out to find Britain’s next potential astronaut. Dr Imber will give a talk at Broadlea Primary school in Lake, on Wednesday (26 June), between 7pm and 8pm.

Dr Imber is a Planetary Scientist, and Pro-Vice Chancellor (Students) at the University of Leicester.

This event is now free but you will need to book a space HERE.
