This weekend sees the return of one of the island’s most loved events – the Royal Isle of Wight County Show!
This year is set to be another exciting event celebrating the best of the Isle of Wight’s agriculture.
If spending your Sunday in the fresh country air of the Isle of Wight Showground with your family, taking in attractions such as the Wight Diamonds Marching Band and Gun Dogs and Hounds sounds right up your street, here’s our guide to help you make the most of it!
Get up close to livestock, and let the kids see show jumping in action in the showjumping arena. Elsewhere the main ring sees displays such as Falconry, Speed Carving, and the much awaited Household Cavalry.
Attractions for 2019 also include the Island Arts Area, ‘I Love Wight Makers’ Market, the Fun Dog Show, Food Pavillion, and Tractor Display Team.
If shopping is your forte, there is set to be plenty of opportunities for some retail therapy with island traders and produce taking center stage.
