Hampshire Constabulary says it has had “a lot of response” as the bid to find missing Rosie Johnson continues.

The force has told Isle of Wight Radio that although it is planning more searches, it has not yet confirmed where they will be.

Yesterday (Wednesday) Coastguard teams, Wightsar, Hampshire Search and Rescue, and police officers, were among those in Wootton carrying out searches in the area, including in the creek.

22-year-old Rosie Johnson has not been seen since Sunday night and did not report for work at PGL’s Little Canada on Monday.

Her uncle, MSP Daniel Johnson has tweeted,

“Can I thank everyone for their support and kind wishes regarding my neice’s disappearance. The kind thoughts and wishes are much appreciated. There is no new information and I would ask people to respect the privacy the family as they concentrate on the search.”

She has brown hair and is slim and was wearing a blue puffa jacket.

Police say they are in the process of identifying key search areas.
